Questions

If yours isn't here, just ask.

Which sports does MedalDesk support?

Badminton today: singles, doubles and mixed, with badminton scoring built in. More sports are coming.

Where is our data stored?

Our database is hosted in Canada (Montreal).

Many of our players are minors. How is their information handled?

Public pages show only names, clubs or schools, age groups, draws and results, not emails or phone numbers. Data is used only to run your tournament and is never sold. Organizers should have a parent's permission before entering a minor. A full privacy policy is coming soon.

Can players pay entry fees online?

Not yet, it's coming soon. The tournament report can total your entry fees and expenses.

Can we use it at a sanctioned event?

Check your association's rules, since some require specific software. MedalDesk suits club, district and school events.

Do we need to install anything?

No. It runs in any browser on a laptop, tablet, phone or TV.

How do we get started?

Book a demo. We'll set up your club and help you run your first tournament.
